Cooling in Summer. Heating for Less in Winter.
Heating and cooling products are coming soon to Spark. Explore this preview of air-to-air systems that cool, heat and filter room air. We are not taking enquiries or installation bookings for these products yet.

One Quiet Unit. Four Jobs.
Cooling in summer
Instant, quiet cooling on the hottest days — set the room to exactly the temperature you want.
Heating for less in winter
A SCOP of ~4.0 means every kWh of electricity delivers about four of heat — the 3.5kW model provides around 3.8kW of warmth.
Cleaner, drier air
Built-in filtration and dehumidifying modes cut pollen, dust and damp year-round.
Installation planning
Installation requirements depend on the property and chosen system. Spark installation dates and service details will be confirmed when this range launches.

Air-to-air systems heat and cool rooms but don’t heat water. You can also preview the EcoFlow PowerHeat air source heat pump, also coming soon to Spark.

Run Your Comfort on Your Own Energy
Air-to-air heat pumps use electricity for heating and cooling. Solar and battery storage can supply some of that electricity, depending on generation, usage and the system design. Heating and cooling products are shown here as a preview.
System compatibility, controls and monitoring will be confirmed when the range launches.
Gas Boiler vs Air Conditioning — An Illustration
Explore an illustrative comparison using the assumptions below. Actual heating costs depend on your home, equipment, usage and tariffs.
How this estimate is calculated
Illustration assumes gas at 7.33p/kWh, 85% boiler efficiency, heat-pump SCOP 4.0 and electricity at 26.11p/kWh. Solar/battery heating uses an assumed effective cost of 2p per kWh of heat. Carbon factors: gas 0.183 and electricity 0.07 kg CO₂/kWh. Installation and finance costs are excluded.
Heating and cooling products are coming soon. No grant eligibility, installation price or saving is confirmed by this preview. Calculator figures are illustrations using the stated assumptions, exclude installation and finance costs, and are not a quote.
Air Conditioning Questions, Answered
What is an air-to-air heat pump?
It's what most people call air conditioning — a quiet wall-mounted indoor unit paired with an outdoor unit. It cools in summer, heats highly efficiently in winter and filters your air year-round.
Can it really heat my home in winter?
Yes. These units are heat pumps with a seasonal efficiency (SCOP) of around 4.0 — every kWh of electricity delivers about four of heat, and they deliver more heat than their cooling rating. They keep working well below freezing.
Is there a grant for air-to-air heat pumps?
Spark is not confirming grants or tax treatment for this preview range. Any available support and its eligibility conditions will need to be checked against the scheme rules and chosen installation when the service launches.
What about hot water?
Air-to-air systems heat and cool your rooms but don't heat water. Most homes keep their existing boiler or cylinder for hot water — or pair the system with an air source (air-to-water) heat pump like the EcoFlow PowerHeat.
How long does installation take?
Timing depends on the property and system. Spark is not taking heating or cooling installation bookings yet; service details will be confirmed when the range launches.
How noisy is it?
Indoor units run from around 22 dB(A) on their quietest setting — quieter than a whisper — and the outdoor unit is no louder than a modern fridge from a few metres away.
What Our Solar Customers Say
“Red who sold us the panels was brilliant and never pushy, and Josh in operations has been so helpful since. We're already saving and earning from exports.”
“The install team turned up on the coldest, wettest day in months and just cracked on, all in good humour, then took me through the monitoring app. Brilliant.”
“Professional from start to finish. We knew nothing about solar two weeks ago and now we have panels on the roof producing electricity.”
