What Could You Save?
Answer two quick questions for an instant, no-obligation estimate of your system and potential energy savings.
How this estimate is calculated
Illustration uses 950 kWh generation per installed kWp each year, 27.03p/kWh import electricity, 15p/kWh export, 68% self-use capped at 60% of household demand, and constant rates over 30 years. It excludes installation, finance, maintenance, replacements and degradation.
*Figures are indicative estimates for guidance only, based on typical generation and self-consumption, and are not a quotation. Your personalised, EPVS-validated savings forecast and any finance terms are set out with your quote. Savings are not guaranteed. Finance subject to status and approval.
Finance that Fits Your Budget
Pay outright or ask about spreading the cost. We will explain the available options, deposit and total amount payable so you can choose what suits your circumstances.
With a 25% deposit, spread the rest over 5 years and pay not a penny in interest — never more than the cash price. The smart choice if you can manage a higher monthly amount.
Choose a 5, 10 or 15-year term to bring your monthly payment down. Interest applies, but you still own the system and can overpay whenever you like.
Pay the deposit set out in your Order, with the remaining balance due on successful completion and commissioning. Your quote sets out the equipment, installation and total price.

Understand Your Monthly Costs
Compare your forecast energy savings with the proposed repayments and total finance cost. A lower energy bill does not necessarily mean your combined monthly costs will be lower.
Energy prices can rise or fall. Savings depend on generation, usage and tariffs, while repayment terms depend on the finance agreement.
Compare savings forecasts with the deposit, total repayments and other system costs. Forecasts are not guaranteed returns.
Sell What You Don't Use Back to the Grid
Through the Smart Export Guarantee, the energy your panels generate but you don't use is sold back to your supplier — turning your roof into a second income that runs alongside your savings.

Savings & Finance Questions
How can I pay for solar and a battery?
You can pay outright or ask about finance. Your adviser will explain the available options and confirm the deposit, repayments and total amount payable in writing. Finance is subject to status, affordability and approval.
Can the monthly payment be less than I save?
It depends on your system, tariffs and finance terms. Compare your savings forecast with the quoted repayments and total costs; a lower energy bill does not guarantee lower combined monthly costs.
Do solar panels really pay for themselves?
Solar and battery can cut electricity bills by up to 90%, and an eligible export tariff can pay for surplus energy. Payback depends on the installation price, generation, usage, tariffs, finance and other costs. Your quote includes a forecast, not a guaranteed return.
Will I still save money on a finance plan?
Finance changes the overall cost and timing of your payments. Compare the forecast energy benefit with the total amount repayable, including interest and any fees. Your personal quote will help you assess this.
Do I need a deposit?
The deposit depends on your chosen payment option. We will confirm the amount and payment schedule in your quote and any finance agreement.
What happens if energy prices change?
Energy prices can rise or fall as wholesale markets, demand and supply change. There is no certain long-term path for household bills. Generating and using your own solar electricity can reduce the amount you need to buy from your energy supplier.
